Gaia Gortys by Apostolakis Family’s thyme honey is being collected from bees which are being kept in village Kapetaniana, (Asterousia Mountain altimeter 750 m). Asterousia Mountains have big ecological value and great beauty. Asterousia Mountains and Kapetaniana are very important areas due to the existence of native vegetal species, medical plants and rare, wild and aromatic herbs.
Our bees collect nectar from thyme and other wild herbs of Cretan land.

Keep in cool and shady place
Crystallization is a natural status of the pure, unprocessed honey and it doesn’t affect its nutritional value. If you wish to restore it, you can warm it up in Bain-Marie for few minutes and under 40 °C
